Helpdesk support for office and factory floor employees, Developed and deployed database accessing solutions, help development of new web based dealer access pages. Generated and created prototype ideas for helping with and increasing workflow of department as a whole.
Resident assistant in Hubbard Hall that helps assess and respond to the needs of 50 residents on my floor and over 2100 residents in the whole building. Created programming for residents while working in a team focused, collaborative environment. Developed and directed multiple hall events that required coordinating with different departments in RHA.
Worked in Hubbard Hall for 3 years and have had experiences with all types of incidents ranging from simple noise complaints to wellness checks to even complicated situations with criminal legal actions being levied.
Seasonally worked at a rock climbing gym at the front desk and as a floor supervisor for the beginner area in the gym. Some responsibilities include: providing instruction, corrections, information and encouragement to new climbers. Took on and finished projects and tasks and learned from them. Managed the inherent risks involved in climbing. Monitored and enforced proper use of equipment.
Worked in areas of pattern recognition, emergent phenomena (swarms. Etc.) machine vision, neural networks, robotics, and also in an eclectic range of new technologies (carbon nanotubes, graphene, biomimetic systems, etc.) Also was responsible for researching future avenues of technology for the company to pursue.
Apart my interests in the IT sphere, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I am an avid rock climber and backpacker. I also enjoy putting together videos of my travels and events. Along with my amateur photography cinema-photography hobbies, it makes for a fun way to record and remember memories.
When Indoors, I'm a movie buff, an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technological advancements in cloud and web management fields as well as the design in the outdoor gear and equipment area. I’ve also recently begin putting together my own homelab that I use to test out various enterprise applications that can be used in a work environment.
